Oskar Fischinger

I wanted to mention the artist Oskar Fischinger for my post this week - He was a visual artist born in 1900 and died in 1967. I feel his work was well ahead of his time, incorporating a lot of multimedia aspects into a singular composition. He also uses a lot of abstract design elements in his work. He plays with shapes and colors, lines and movement, and depth. Though his subject matter is somewhat vague, his use of these elements really bring his work to life.
