Stephanie - Chocolate Art

I was looking up chocolate images for another project when I found some pretty interesting chocolate sculptures.  I thought it was awesome how detailed and manipulative artists can be with chocolate.  The pyramid one is the largest chocolate sculpture in the world.  It is a thirtieth of the actual size of a Mayan temple, with a height of 6 feet and a base of ten feet by ten feet.

Pat Perry is a favorite artist of mine. He is an artist and an illustrator. He has a blog attached to his website: http://patperry.net/blog/ It shows all the variety of his work. He posts sketchbook pages, photographs of his travels, and his commercial work as well. Some places he has clients are, Urban Outfitters, Bonaroo, and New York Times.

I stumbled across this website. His shapes are very organic and they are made of glass! I took a glass blowing class once and it was awesome.

I thought this was pretty clever and inventive, and i like how it is "minimalistic".

Another piece on minimalism, and how it could be the future for brands and advertising. I think it could very well be true, if there is a way for people to focus on one simple thing instead of many components in a piece of advertising.
This blog displays the work of some really talented and diverse artists...

Making the pieces to go into the template so far hasn't gotten to hard, I feel like I seem to find new tools and use different tools from the tutorials. I also have been using online tutorials to make different concepts that are in my sketch book.

This one I just had the idea of light and how a picture can be captured.

& This idea, found online I am attempting to make to show the shutter and different aspects of how cameras function

My first link is an artist named Matei Apostolescu,  a freelance illustrator, who lives in Bucharest, Romania, EU.  Using all kinds of tools ranging from rotring pencils, markers, spray paint to Wacom tablet, Photoshop and Illustrator. Interesting work.

My second link looks at the Artist Tang Yau Hoong and thier use of illusion and surrealism.

My third link is a brief reference for a few tips and tricks to remember when setting up a new illustrator document.
